Making my own Prints

Hello traveler! Welcome back to the log. Today I have glorious news, I am now able to make my own art prints! Why is this great? Let me tell you.

The ability to make my own art prints is fantastic because it saves me so much in not only money, but time! And that mean it saves you money and time dear Traveler! The cheaper it is for me to make an art print, the cheaper it is for you to purchase one. And it also cuts down on the shipping time, so you get it even faster! Win for all!

Now this didn’t come without any upfront costs of course, printers are not free, good paper is not free, and ink….ha definitely not free.

The printer I chose was the Epson XP-15000. Not a crazy expensive printer but it is good at printing photos. So with a little work with Canva templates, and Snapseed helping to get the resolutions just right and saturation levels….now we’re in business. Canva is free as well as Snapseed so if you’d like to check them out be my guest.

Now, I do not have a paper cutter (yet) so I have to trim them all by hand. That’s ok, I don’t shy away from a little work! I also package them all myself in cellophane bags, with backer boards to protect them. Very professional, yes.

I have created a small stockpile to get a jump on market season. I am officially signed up for 3 markets this year! One in May, on in June, and one in September. I may do another one if these go well. I will also be sharing more details about each of them as they approach so that you may be informed and can come and shop in person from not only myself, but other artisans. I will most likely make a Calendar tab that lists all events I will be at for the year.

So rest assured dear Traveler, if you purchase a print from me it will be directly from me. Printed with my printer, trimmed by hand and packaged with care. I look forward to serving you and coming up with more items that may tickle your fancy! Thank you for the support thus far! Safe Travels!
